Indeed, tested and verified. I guess only retarded stuff that needed to be nerfed got nerfed, i.e. inexperienced UWSC with lots of deaths, ghost running, and frog farming. Can't say it was not expected.

Actually I think it's even smaller than radar range, as the Dev Updates state "Spell Casting Range".
I suppose UA can start collecting dust now :P
Still UA wasn't really the problem, the fact heroes don't trigger enemies remains the real issue. Ghost running got nerfed, but you can still send your H/H through a dungeon, Shadow Form run after them (with appropriate distance of course) and get through the map and avoiding most of the fights. Of course you still have to make sure you don't bring a whole mob to the end point you flagged your H/H to, but it's still somewhat viable, given the fact you need to be an Assasin/Ele/Mesmer.

This is pretty weak. Sure it was bound to happen but come on...they give us something fun to use and because of their screwup, we make all new team builds and find new strategies. Then they "fix" their screwup, which I'm pretty damn sure was exactly the way it was supposed to be anyway, because it's being "abused".
Funny that they kill UA for being abused but Shadow Form is still alive and kicking. Ridiculous. Stop messing with PvE'ers fun...you're losing your fanbase real quick.

yep, skill is a bit overpowered on rezzing and they happily nerfed it. I was considering of "disable all skills for 45 seconds except U and rez only 50% health and 10% energy." Well, at least it's better than putting your ass within aggro range and try to use rebirth.

even worse...bye-bye Sloth Hunter's shot...reducing, yet again, the ranger to medium direct damage....bastards!
Oh, uh...the UA thing is a shame...I only did one run with some friends and it was kinda fun...ah, well...no harm in making folks work instead of play...oh, yeah...it's a game.

Ok, now if it was spell casting range, THEN it would be better off rezzing your allies using Rebirth than Unyielding Aura. Then again, recovering from a wipe via resurrection (particularly HM) AND having to go into casting range (which about 1.2x of aggro bubble) is a sorry pain in the ass.

Ah well. UA was overpowered, I think most people were expecting a nerf. Doesn't really bother me, I got a good couple VS runs and as for the UW SC, take terras who don't die like when the last UB builds were running... and it's the same.
I'm glad OoU got unnerfed, and the new Glowing Gaze/Ice/Stone is nice (well judging from the stats, haven't tried it).

Ya it would have made a lot more sense to make it work for radar range not casting range. Now u can add it to ur list of useless elites. Do the developers even play the game?

this "fix" is just proof that they are lazy when balancing. The right thing to do was fix hero mechanics to stop ghost running. UA was nice for speed UW and FoW where you could rez a noob terra without them ruining the run... there was nothing game breaking about allowing a team to take an inexperienced terra with them.
